Plot Twists and Prosecco is a cozy, in-person book club for women who love fiction, romance, and Black authors, paired with good food, great drinks, and even better conversation. Our goal is to create a space for connection, sisterhood, and fun over exciting books and prosecco-filled brunches — all in the DMV area!

Our club is open to women of all backgrounds who are looking to enjoy books, prosecco, and community. Whether you’re an avid reader or just getting back into books — you’re welcome here!

We meet monthly, typically for a weekend brunch. Each meetup features a new book, a themed gathering, and fun extras like games, gifts, and discussion prompts.

Nope! While we love consistency and seeing familiar faces, you can join whenever your schedule allows. Just be sure to RSVP so we can plan for you!

There’s no fee to be a member, but some meetups may have small costs to cover brunch, drinks, or special goodies. We’ll always be transparent about any costs in advance.

Not at all! Come for the book talk, stay for the prosecco! Whether you finish the book or not, you’re welcome — no judgment here.
