Hi! I'm Angel — book lover, event curator, and founder of Plot Twists & Prosecco, a DMV-based book club celebrating romance and thrillers by Black authors.
I started this club to create a space where sisterhood thrives and stories spark connection. From brunches and Pilates to cocktail parties and virtual author chats, we’re building a vibrant community of women who love good books, good vibes, and unforgettable experiences.

✨ What It's About:
Leigh is the last of the Wildes. After surviving a harrowing childhood and watching her family slip away, survival is the only thing she knows. When a prison transport bus crashes into a ravine, killing everyone onboard but her, Leigh seizes a desperate second chance at freedom.
On the run, she stumbles into the ultimate unexpected sanctuary: an isolated flower farm in rural Alabama. There, she meets a beautifully flawed "found family" led by Jackson, the farm's owner, who carries dark secrets of his own. As Leigh learns to work the soil and face the ghosts of her past, she begins to realize that just because something appears dead, doesn't mean it can’t bloom again. But when her secrets finally catch up to her, Leigh must decide if she’s ready to stop just surviving, and finally start living.
